Dishwalla Releases New Single “Alive” and Announces EP
April 15, 2022Dishwalla releases its brand-new single “Alive” via Pavement Entertainment. The song will be featured on the upcoming EP of the same name. Alive is Dishwalla’s first release in five years and follows the 2017 Juniper Road album. The EP drops everywhere on May 13, 2022.

The video for “Alive” was shot in the mountains above the band’s hometown Santa Barbara, California and features the band performing on an abandoned water tower turned into a gigantic piece of artwork that serves as a stage.

Vocalist Justin Fox says, “The three songs of the EP are about what we’ve collectively experienced during the past couple years… life, love, and loss.” The lead song “Alive” was written during the start of the pandemic and is a direct reflection of how the band and people around them were feeling at the time. Dishwalla chose to release the song now in the wake of the pandemic and current situation in the Ukraine to remind everyone that we should be good to one another, be thankful to have the things we have, and to cherish all that life has to offer us.”

Dishwalla is an award-winning Alternative Rock band based out of Santa Barbara, California.
